Words inside words
Find smaller words hidden inside bigger words.
Badminton is the game Prabhat and Surya played in 'Change of Heart'. On page 109 your book, Poorvi, turns the word BADMINTON into a puzzle: how many smaller words are hidden inside it?
There is one rule. You must use letters that come one after another in the long word, and you must not change their order. You cannot skip a letter or jump back.
Your book does BADMINTON for you: B-A-D gives BAD, A-D-M-I-N gives ADMIN, M-I-N-T gives MINT, and there are also IN, TON and ON. But 'band' is not allowed: after B-A comes D, not N.
Now the book gives you two more. In PHENOMENON you can find HEN, men, omen, no and ON. In BASKETBALL you can find bask, ask, basket, ball and ALL. Each time, check that the letters sit side by side, in the same order.
