1Getting started

You can try LearnWave straight away from the home page. There is no account and no sign-up. Just pick a class and start a lesson.

When you want to keep your progress, make an account. A learner picks their class, and a teacher picks Teacher. A learner's account opens straight away; a teacher's opens once someone at the school approves it.

No child ever pays to learn on LearnWave.

2Your books

Open My Learning to see your subjects. Each one follows a real textbook from your school, chapter by chapter, in the same order as the book.

Every chapter is split into small lessons. Each lesson teaches one skill, so you always know what you are learning and why.

3Inside a lesson

Most lessons follow four simple steps.

  1. 1ReadA short, clear explanation. Tap “Read to me” to hear it read out loud.
  2. 2SeeWorked examples that show every step, so nothing is a mystery.
  3. 3TryMany lessons have something to do with your hands, like a number line you can move or cards you can sort.
  4. 4CheckA few questions at the end: the Practice check. If you get one wrong, a hint shows you what went wrong.

4Mastering a lesson

Score 80% or more on the Practice check and the lesson is mastered. You earn a gold star, and a little celebration.

Below 80%, the lesson still counts as completed. Either way, the next lesson opens for you.

Want a better score? Practise again whenever you like. Trying again is always free, and mistakes are how we learn.

5Seeing how far you have come

Your Dashboard shows where you stopped last time. One tap and you carry on.

The Knowledge Space is a map of every skill in your book. A gold star means mastered. A part-filled ring means you are on your way. A softly glowing dot is ready for you to start.

A streak counts the days you learn. Miss a day and nothing bad happens. Just pick up where you left off. There are no leaderboards, so nobody is ranked against anybody.

6Remembering it for longer

Review brings a lesson back just before you would forget it. Do a quick check, and the next review moves further away. This is how “I got it once” turns into “I really know it”.

Flash Rounds are a quick game against the clock, using questions from chapters you have studied. Get most of them right to clear a level. Each new level has the same questions, with a little less time. It is only a game, so it never changes your progress.

7When you are stuck

Signed-in learners can open the AI Tutor and ask for help. It gives hints and asks you small questions, but it never just hands you the answer. That way, the thinking stays yours.

8Books in Hindi

LearnWave is in English, and so are its lessons, with one happy exception: your Hindi books. They are written in Hindi, just like the book in your bag.

Ask the Tutor about a Hindi book and it answers you in Hindi too.

9For teachers

My Class shows every pupil’s progress at a glance, and gently points out who might need a hand.

Assignments let you send lessons to your class and see who has finished them.

Your data is safe

Learner data is never sold, and there is no advertising anywhere. LearnWave is built around the DPDP Act, with GDPR alongside it.
