Carrier of Words / Words
Who does it, or what is done
Use the active and the passive voice.
Active: the subject does the action: 'Khetaram carries the mailbag.'
Passive: the subject receives the action: 'The mailbag is carried by Khetaram.'
How to make it: a form of be + past participle: is delivered, was written, will be needed. The doer may follow by, or be left out when it doesn't matter.
With modals: modal + be + past participle: should be practised, will be needed, should be worn.
Examples:
- 'You will need a lot of stamina.' → 'A lot of stamina will be needed.'
- 'Wear full-sleeved shirts.' → 'Full-sleeved shirts should be worn.'
- 'Villagers will ask you to draft replies.' → 'You will be asked to draft replies by villagers.'
Passive = be + past participle; the doer can follow 'by'.
