Changes around us

Meet Saba and Aparna and notice the changes around us.

In your book, Our Wondrous World (Chapter 9), two friends, Saba and Aparna, meet after a long time. Aparna is now taller than Saba, and Saba has started learning to play the guitar. They talk about their old classroom, their favourite games and the new trees planted near the school gate. So much has changed since last year!

Changes are happening to us and to the world around us all the time. Some changes take years. Some happen in just days, or even in minutes.

Your book gives many examples. You grow taller each year. Leaves fall off the trees and then grow again. Flowers bloom, dry up and then bloom again. The sky changes colour. And the Sun appears to rise and set every day.

So the world is never still. If you look closely, you can notice changes all around you, some slow and some quick.

Changes happen to us and around us all the time, and they take different lengths of time: some take years, some only days or minutes.
