Where is it?
Learn words that tell where something is.
Words like on, between, above, behind, beside, under and in front of tell us WHERE something is. They are called prepositions.
On page 109 of your book, Santoor, there is a drawing of a garden. Here is what it shows. There are two flower pots side by side, each with a yellow flower. A little ladybug is on the ground, with one flower pot on each side of it. So the ladybug is between the two flower pots.
A butterfly is flying in the air, higher than the flower. So the butterfly is flying above the flower. A honeybee has landed on top of a flower. So the honeybee is sitting on the flower.
A blue watering can stands at the back, with the pots in front of it. So the watering can is behind the flower pots.
Remember: between means in the middle of two things; above means higher than; on means touching the top of; behind means at the back of.
