One Thing at a Time
New words
Learn the new words from the poem.
On page 36 of your book, Santoor, you match three words from the poem 'One Thing at a Time' with their meanings.
Might means strength or power. When the poem asks you to do everything with all your might, it means with all your strength. (Be careful: 'might' has another meaning too. 'It might rain' means perhaps it will rain. In the poem, might means strength.)
Useful means helpful or beneficial: something that helps you. A pencil is useful for writing. An umbrella is useful on a rainy day.
Moments means short periods of time. 'Wait a moment' means wait a little while. The poem says we should never waste our moments.
