Hekko

How Hekko ends

Find out how the game of Hekko ends.

In the chapter 'Hekko' (your book, Santoor, page 92), you learn how the game ends and who wins.

Every time a team gets a player of the other team out, it gains points. An Aami player is out when he is pushed out of the circle. An Aakho player is out when he is caught and says 'Joko'. When one Aakho player is caught, another Aakho player comes into the circle, so the game goes on.

The game ends when one of these three things happens. One: all the players of the Aakho team are caught. Two: all the players of the Aami team are pushed out of the circle. Three: the time runs out.

When the game ends, the points are counted. The team with the most points wins.

Hekko ends when all Aakho players are caught, all Aami players are pushed out, or the time runs out; the team with the most points wins.
