Opposites with 's'
Find opposites that follow a special rule with the letter s.
On page 36 of your book, Santoor, you find opposites with a special rule: every answer must begin with the letter s. The first is done for you: the opposite of large is small.
Here are the others. Weak and strong. Fast and slow. Rough and smooth. Blunt and sharp: a blunt knife cannot cut well, but a sharp one can. Curved and straight: a rainbow is curved, a ruler is straight.
Finish and start. Addition and subtraction: in addition we put numbers together, and in subtraction we take one away from another. Complicated and simple: something complicated is hard to understand, and something simple is easy.
The rule 's' helps you choose. The opposite of fast could be many things, but only 'slow' begins with s.
