The Rainbow
Mixing colours
Find out what new colours you get when you mix two colours.
When we mix two colours of paint, we get a new colour. On page 39 of your book, Santoor, you find six colour mixes, with some letters of each answer given to help you.
Red and blue make purple. Yellow and blue make green. Red and yellow make orange.
Red and white make pink: the white makes the red lighter. Red and black make maroon, a dark red: the black makes the red darker.
If you mix red, yellow and blue all together, you get brown.
The letter blanks help you check. p _ _ _ _ e has six letters and fits purple. m _ _ _ _ n has six letters and fits maroon.
