Vocation
Who does which job?
Match workers with the jobs they do.
Every worker has a job of their own. On page 115 of your book, Santoor, there is a game called Job Mix-Up: each picture shows a worker doing someone else's job, and you say what is wrong.
The book shows how: a chef is driving a fire engine. A chef's job is to cook tasty meals, not to drive a fire engine. Driving a fire engine is what firefighters do.
The other pictures, told in words: a doctor in a white coat is standing at a crossing, directing the traffic. That is the job of a traffic police officer; a doctor looks after sick people. A police officer is listening to a patient's heart with a stethoscope. That is a doctor's job. A firefighter is teaching a class at a blackboard. That is a teacher's job; a firefighter puts out fires. A builder in a hard hat is mending shoes. That is a cobbler's job.
On pages 116 and 117 your book shows more workers. A beekeeper looks after bees and collects their honey. A photographer takes photographs. A dancer performs dances. A pilot flies aeroplanes. A farmer grows crops. A florist sells and arranges flowers. The book reminds us that no work is better or worse than another: every job matters.
