Terms of use
These are the rules for using LearnWave, in plain words. By using LearnWave you agree to them.
Who we are
LearnWave is a learning service built and operated by Arcadix GmbH, Wehntalerstrasse 20, CH-8157 Dielsdorf, Switzerland.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and use only your own account. A learner's account can be used straight away. A teacher's account waits for approval by one of our administrators, or the school's own administrator, before its teacher tools open. We may pause or close an account that is misused.
Children
When a child uses LearnWave, their school or their parent or guardian is responsible for that use.
Using it fairly
Do not try to get into accounts or parts of the service that are not yours, to overload or break it, or to copy its lessons and questions in bulk.
The lessons
Lessons, explanations and questions on LearnWave are written by Arcadix and belong to Arcadix. Pupils and teachers may use them for learning and teaching. They follow the order of a school's textbooks but do not reproduce the books' text, and the names of books and boards belong to their owners.
No child pays
No child ever pays to learn on LearnWave. A school that works with us may agree separate terms with Arcadix.
The service as it is
LearnWave is new. We work to keep it running and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or never contain a mistake. Practice checks help a child learn; they are not official marks or exam results.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the law. How we handle personal data is described on our Privacy page.
Changes
If we change these terms, we change this page and the date at the top.
