The Tinkling Bells

Words for good values

Find words for good values hidden in a grid of letters.

On page 15 of your book, Santoor, there is a big grid of letters. Ten words are hidden in it, and they are printed in a list under the grid: calm, honest, love, respect, courage, loyal, truth, fair, kind and peace. They are all words for good ways to be.

Honest: you tell the truth and do not keep what is not yours, like Chinna when he gave back the extra ₹10. Truth: what really happened. Fair: treating everyone in the same, right way. Kind: gentle and helpful to others.

Loyal: you stand by your friends and family. Courage: being brave, even when you feel afraid. Respect: being polite and caring about other people and their things. Calm: quiet and not upset. Peace: a time with no fighting. Love: caring deeply for someone.

When you look for a word in a grid, spell it letter by letter: H-O-N-E-S-T, C-O-U-R-A-G-E, R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Honest, truth, fair, kind, loyal, courage, respect, calm, peace and love are words for good ways to be.
