New words
Learn some new words and use them in sentences.
On page 72 of your book, Santoor, there is a box of five words: brave, rocky, mistakes, proudly and delightful. You match each word with its meaning.
Proudly means feeling happy about something you did well. In the poem, Lhamo proudly plays the guitar. Mistakes are errors, things done the wrong way. In the poem, Geeta learns from her mistakes every day.
Rocky means uneven, or full of difficulties. In the poem, Anant plays hockey even when the ground is rocky, full of stones and bumps.
Two words in the box are not in the poem, but they are good words to know. Brave means courageous and bold, not afraid. Delightful means very pleasing or enjoyable, like a delightful day at the fair.
