Blends: st, ch, gl
Practise words that begin with st, ch and gl.
Some words begin with two letters that we say together. On page 95 of your book, Santoor, there are small drawings of things, and you write their names under three headings: 'st', 'ch' and 'gl'.
Words that begin with 'st': stairs (the steps you climb to go up), and star (it shines in the night sky). Your book does 'stairs' for you.
Words that begin with 'ch': chair (you sit on it), and charger (you use it to charge a mobile phone). Note that 'c' and 'h' together make one new sound, 'ch', as in chair.
Words that begin with 'gl': glue (it sticks paper together), and glass (you drink water from it).
To find the right heading, say the word slowly and listen to the first sounds: st-ar, ch-air, gl-ass.
