A game is an activity with a defined objective, time, space and rules that ends in a winner and a loser; the chapter describes it as played by more than two people as a team.

Sport is a wider term: an institution covering all physical activities and skills governed by rules, often competitive. Sports training is planned, systematic preparation of an athlete based on scientific principles.

Gymnastics includes exercises with and without apparatus (parallel bars, horizontal bar, beam, pommel horse, rings), for agility and balance. In some countries physical education is called physical culture, which also aims at a well-shaped body.

Drill is body exercises for good posture and discipline, done to beats, music or commands.

Health education covers disease, rest, sleep, sanitation and pollution; recreation is pleasure-giving activity (playing, singing, hiking, gardening, dancing) that restores energy and relieves stress.

Game, sport, training: from one match to a whole system.
